Glass or jade? Bone or plastic?

Hello again,

This is online as a glass and bone necklace.

It doesn’t look like bone to me and the glass looks like jade. Can anyone tell what it is?

Stone could be green aventurine. The smaller faceted beads look more like it than the larger spherical ones, but pix don't show well enough to be sure. Are we seeing both sides of the 'bone' element? Looks more like resin from here.

 

I'm with Bronwen on green aventurine being a likely candidate.
The bone looks like bone to me, but maybe the back will tell us something else.

 

Looks like it might have ivory schreger lines. Perhaps a clearer picture is needed.

BMRT, If you like it & it's cheap (& you would wear it) go on & get it. Regardless of the materials, it is not well constructed. Looks like someone's home project, someone who did not realize how the 'ivory' pendant is going to slide back & forth, how quickly the metal loop holding it is going to fray the cord, whose knots are not always snug. It is definitely not something to buy for resale.

 

Fair, I like it for me but not enough for what they are asking especially if it’s a home project.

 

Ok, leave this one. There will always be another one, and another..... and another.....

 

And another that will make you glad you did not waste money on this one.
