Featured Glass scarab necklace approx 60” long. Age, origin?

    IMG_2402.jpeg IMG_2403.jpeg IMG_2404.jpeg My first thought was Neiger but I don’t think they are. They still appear to have some decent age to them. They do not glow green. Do you think Czech? Knotted on nice silk? cord. Approx 60”
    What say ye?

    Looks like a Neiger Brothers piece to me. They used Czech glass made in Gablonz. They were known for Egyptian Revival designs. Great find!

    Where's Bear when we need her? My first thought was Neiger too, but we don't get enough of it here for me to be 100% sure. I'd run a blacklight over those too. If they're custard glass and they glow ....dingdingding! (even if not Neiger that's a very good thing.)

    Quite a necklace, gauntlett. It could be Neiger, although the beads were made by another manufacturer and also sold to other design companies.

    There is a Neiger group on FB. You could ask there.

    It doesn’t glow as I hoped. I’ll check into the FB group. Another collector said it wasn’t Neiger
