My first thought is that these might be candle holders.

I actually think they're wine glasses. I purchased a set of 8 at an estate sale.

My first thought was 1970s Italian.

My first thought was the same as Don's (about these being for candles,) but I think it would depend on what they're like inside...

Steven, does the inside have an opening down into the part immediately above the stem, or is it more of a closed "cup" inside the top portion?

    p.s. They're very pretty!

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

MY FIRST thought, before I scrolled down to another picture, was...WOW....that's a creative 'marriage' of sorts.....until I saw there were four of them!!!!! Very interesting and nice!!! I'm betting the top is more of a closed "cup" as SBSVC suggested...........

    I might be wrong.
As I was looking at these this morning, I remembered I have some clear glass with a similar type of stem in my shop. I id'd them as Czech. Mine aren't quite as pronounced in the area where stem meets bowl.

I found these, they also are claiming Czech.
