Glass swan with Gold plating.. Any info appreciated

Hi wasnt sure where this item belonged on glassware or metal forum. Please can you tell me about this salt cellar I am stumped. Thanks

I think it is more modern. 1970s. Possibly Italian. Or it may be newer Chinese.
I really don't know.
That lion on the bottom is weird. Never seen that.
Maybe someone will recognize it.

 

Thanks clutteredcloset49, I too wondered if it was Italian my research led to Saint Mark, symbolised as a winged lion with book sometimes. Eagerly awaiting more info..I do love a mystery

 

It's the lion of Venice. I suspect 1960s/70s tourist pretty.
