Glass Vase Metal Mount

    Don't know if the decoration is original or the piece was later upscaled. The surface is a bit iridescent but hard to capture on the pictures. Black on the interior. The vase appears to have been molded.

    Any thoughts?

    It looks like an 80s vase. That stippled paint look was big then. Im wondering if the iridescent is paint too,if not,who would have painted over that ?!?
