They look quite recent to me but any idea who and where made them?
    Thanks

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

I found quite a few "female nude stem" glasses, frosted and clear, a couple in green... but none have your girls' pretty "modesty" flowers. Very old-fashioned-looking. So where would you use these? An upscale bachelor party?

These are the only two I've been able to find so far. Old eBay from 2010 and 2012, with sold prices. No ID in the titles, descriptions not available anymore.

Still... inquiring minds wanna know... what occasion would merit hauling these out? Gentlemans' club members' parties?
Would ladies of the day be offended? Maybe not... after all... they're Art with a capital A.

Gila, here are some links for you regarding pop-culture of the era, 1900s-1930s.

....a famous painting from 1912 by a french artist named Paul Chabas. This painting caused quite a riot when it was shown in America around 1917 and a vice officer saw it in a display window. Soon after it became the rage...

    Wowwww... thanks, Laura...

Those links really took me back in time. So the hipsters of the day were walking on the wild side!

It's fun to imagine how scandalous they must have seemed to the Establishment of the day.

    Boggles my mind.

    Thanks again.

Bought a set very similar here in France a couple of weeks ago. They are still in the box and are not as old as they appear.

@popsycat ! How cool. You have them new in the box! What is the info on the box? Company name? Pattern name?

I wrote a reply a few minutes ago, but it has not appeared. Firstly try looking for Bayel nude ladies glasses. You will get lots of hits. Mine are in a brown box marked "cristel gravé en relief" Made in France. A sticky label in the side says "Chevreuse J.G. Durand et cie, 62510 Arques France" They are frosted glass nude ladies holding up clear glass stems. No flowers. The box looks to be 90's. Yours could be a better make.

I looked at Bayel already but did not find the same. In fact, all the glasses with frosted nude stems that are saw had clear bases.

Ditto what Kard said. There are tons of Bayel frosted glass nude stems, but all have clear base and no flowers.

I started searching for candle holders, figurines, etc. to see if these stems might have any matching pieces, but have had no luck with that strategy either.

The closest, most similar I've found so far are Lalique Floreal figurines, but strangely Kardi's flower girl stems seem to have finer, nicer detail than the Lalique glass.

    from CW:
