Hi all. Picked this lovely hunk of glass yesterday. Its around 14 inches tall ,7 wide . At 1st glance I dismissed it as some painted dreck from China,it was so filthy you almost couldnt see what colors it was. BUT something about it caught my eye and nagged my memory so I splashed out $10 on it,Yall know thats against my religion ! Soaked it warm soapy water and gave it a good scrub .Im convince its better than China made . The surface is a tiny bit rough, and thats layers of glass all over it. Id love you alls thoughts.

Oddly, Isle of Wight glass came up on a Youtube channel, mentioned by a guy who'd bought a collection and didn't know what/where it was. Not that I'd recognize it on my best day, but at least I knew where it was. Too many old 60s leftovers hanging around when I was younger.:p

It’s lovely stuff, especially the older pieces. Michael Harris who also founded Mdina.

I've seen Mdina. It doesn't surprise me that a British glassblower worked in Malta too. That rings bells.
