I don't know glass from bip. I kind of thought this was interesting when I first saw it. Now that I have it home, I'm a bit less impressed by it, but thought I'd run it by you all before it goes into the garage sale box. It's about 12" tall.

Just to add, there may be a few dark spots of dirt inside showing through. I cleaned and cleaned it but there were a few stubborn stains.

Thanks Don! I was beginning to wonder if it was just inexpensive china or japan after I brought it home.

I agree on Japan, and do some more digging on it. Some of those sell well now.

Oh really? Didn't know that part. I'll look into it before I toss it in the garage sale pile.

Agree probably Japan based on the stuff I've seen - no expert on Japanese glass though. I like it!

Well, Bless your Bippy, tie-dye. Try it on eBay first, please - just in case someone besides me can see it dressed up in Spring with a sparse bunch of forsythia!

I don't know why that made me chuckle silverthwait, "Bless your Bippy", but thank you for the laugh.

My dad has been incorrigible with his dementia today so a smile is very much appreciated!
