Need a little help with identification of this pair of red glass candlesticks, please. I assume they could be called pillar candlesticks even though they are only 4 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" diameter. As you can see the top on one is cattywampus:dead: My research hasn't turned up anything similar. [IMG]

Someone elsewhere suggested Scandinavian. Riihimaki/Riihimaen, maybe?

I've posted these on 2 vintage glass groups on FB, 2 Scandinavian groups on FB and here. The one and only suggestion was my previous post. I'm really surprised that someone has recognized these. They appear to a very nice quality of glass even the one is catttywampus. The color of these are very rich in person.

Did Dansk make candlesticks like that? Those are so pretty.

I looked through Replacements for "wafer candle" (and candleholder / candlestick). I found some similar pieces, but no matches.

Do you think they could have come with hurricane shades? I can imagine a holidays set, with clear glass shades that show snowflakes, holly & berries, etc.

Thanks for looking folks. I'll see what I can find out about Krosno Claro Janet. Thanks for the lead.

Chuck, They would look good with a hurricane shade. The inside diameter of the top where a shade would have to sit is 3 3/4"
