Featured GLASSIES: Pattern Help pls

    Hi,
    I agree with Cameo. I have sold many pieces of this set. However it does look like Springtime but i have only seen Springtime in clear. Cameo was a knock off of Springtime.

    I think Tall Cakes link is the correct one.

    The Medallion encompassing the figure is a bit different in Cameo?

    My first thought tho was Cameo.

    The droops are different on Springtime. Think it’s Cameo too

    agree the creamer here is Cameo; the Springtime etch, originated by Monongah, was copied by Hocking in their pressed depression glass pattern...

    As an aside, when Monongah made Springtime, After the glass was made, a resist was applied to the glass, all the glass was covered with resist except where the design was wanted and the piece was etched in acid. Not a quick process. Elegant Glass.

    When Hocking made Cameo, the mold was etched and every piece had the design pressed into it. Cheap, Depression Glass.
