Glazed Pottery Tea Canister..Japanese ?

    Hi everyone
    I have this delightful tea cannister with lid. The glazing is terrific and has a script mark to the lid. There is also an inpresed mark to the side. I was wondering whether this is a good Japanese work.Looks like a B or an 8 Sideways. It is stone ware and stands 14cm high (5,5in)
