Featured GLOBE!

Hi everyone! This thing is incredible, found up in relatives attic! Some damage but at 100+ years old what can I expect! Has anyone seen or have any knowledge on this?! Think they are pretty valuable...

Nice find! If no date on it, you might be able to pin it down a bit by the country names and their geo-political boarders. For example, French Equatorial Africa was founded in 1910 so we know it is at least that old. The name was used into much more modern times so it really doesn't give much of a late date for this.

 

Your globe show Nicholas II Land in the arctic. It's an island archipelago not named until 1913 and renamed Severnaya Zemlya in 1926. So that narrows the date range.

NICE Globe, with a fantastic base.......but I think I like the Rooster I see in the background better!!
