Gold fleck / aventurine large paperweight

    Are these usually the generic Murano pieces, or Asian? The base is smoothed but not polished, and unsigned.

    It's huge - 2.5 pounds, and a little more than 4" in diameter. The design resembles an octopus (or sextopus, since there are only six arms) or a six-petal flower which is face-down.
