I have a gold link bracelet, with possible mini diamonds set into rings where the links join the clasp.

It is gold. Apart from its sheer weight, I did the kitchen test of weight and displacement of water. Spot on for gold.

One thing puzzles me. There are no marks whatsoever. Maybe they were on the side of the links that face the wrist, and have been abraded off.

Approximately how old is this bracelet, judging by its style? bracelet.jpg

Given scale of curb chain, toggles, hook-and-eye clasp... Going to be fairly new. Kinda David Yurman-ish.

  3. That's beautiful! I'm curious about the water and weight displacement...I'll look it up.

Hm. It still needs a proper test. I presume you checked if it's magnetic as well?

  7. Whoa...thanks for making it easy for me to research! After reading the first 2 paragraphs I realized that it's so far over my head there's no way I could touch it.

Back to the awesome bracelet...what would you call that type of clasp?

Hello jewelry people. What do these numbers & letters represent? Sorry I couldn't seem to enlarge it. Looks like GQ5 or 3Q5. I am not sure. I can't read the rest. Again, it could just be me in my dream state.

I'd say you're absolutely right @ulilwitch, but the image is too small to read just what it says.....I rotated it, and enlarged, also sharpened a bit, and definitely something written there, but I can't read it! It's just not quite clear enough....maybe OP can with a magnifier!!

I'm with Debora, the style is fairly recent. Probably made in Asia for a Western company.
And as obb said, it needs to be tested for gold content, and for the stones as well.
