I have gold toned cuff links without stones. The diameter is around 3/16" x 3/4"
in closed position or 1 in the open position. I was wondering what decade these
are from, material and should I just recycle them because they have little to no value?
Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

So Rob... Not only are they not precious metal but they're damaged as well? If yes, I think your judgement call a good one. Better to recycle and concentrate your efforts on items that will generate revenue.

Gold or silver will be marked 99% of the time. If theres no hallmark, its probably not real .

There's no requirement to mark precious metals in the U.S.If a piece is marked a registered trademark is also required. I have sold sterling pieces without marked metal content by the hundreds and know of quite a number of others who do not mark their sterling pieces.
