F6F56D71-68AC-4081-B69F-08F34333C575.jpeg Fish server is said to be 12”. What some people are calling an ice cream server has a cut and pointed tip. Is this just a smaller version of fish server? Waffle server? I got another piece from this estate that I believe is a Dutch waffle server so maybe this is one also? 315E788C-3907-4E8E-B4CE-FF5E93333EC6.jpeg

Probably a pie knife, sometimes referred to as a pie wedge. Should be about 9 1/4 inches.

What does the "dutch waffle server" look like?

It’s not perfectly flat, is that consistent with a pie wedges shape? Hopefully yes I’d like to know what to call it. I figured the Dutch waffle server would peak a couple peoples interest. I’ll put it up here next time I’m doing photos and posting.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

How about a side view to show how flat it might be?

even with the ridge, it's still a serving spade....for cake, pies, or sandwiches...
    imo

Not much. It’s pretty gently not flat. I’ll try to grab a photo later tomorrow.

    No idea.

I only know what a 'wafelijzer', waffle iron, looks like. That is an implement to make waffles, not serve them. Nowadays people use electric ones.

As Sue suggests, this was almost certainly offered as a pie knife, the size, shape and proportions are typical.

Not sure why this wouldn't be the spoon from a salad set, though it could be just a serving spoon - if the issue is in the pointed bowl, not uncommon in Aesthetic patterns (the slight center rib is a 'Palm' design feature)...
