    Gorham Fontainebleau 1882 sterling
    8 1/2" long bowl 3 3/8" wide 79.6 gr.
I have looked many places, and have seen alot of pieces for this pattern, but can not find this piece. Any suggestions are welcome! 20200225_195437_15.jpg 20200225_195505_15.jpg 20200225_195209_15.jpg

8 1/2 inches long seems too large for sugar sifter.

Good, because the sugar sifter in this pattern was only 7 inches long. ;) I was making the statement above AGAINST the sugar sifter suggestion.

Replacements shows an 8 1/2 inch "casserole serving spoon" with a solid bowl but the with the same "flatter" shape yours is. I would imagine that this one with a pierced bowl was intended to serve something like peas or other veg that accumulates liquid.

Or even better, a berry spoon.

Thats what I thought, just wish I could find it, somewhere! Thank you!

I've always thought this is such a charming pattern. I'm guessing you searched Gilpen as well as all the different ways I've seen Fontainebleau spelled, Fountainebleau, Fontainbleau, Fontainebleu etc. I didn't see yours in a quick check though.

Another effective search term might be "pierced."

I have American Silver Flatware by Turner. Has pictures of different utensils.

    Possibly a Croquette Server.
I had to look up what a croquette is. From Wiki

    Croquette - Wikipedia

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croquette
    [IMG]
A croquette (/kroʊˈkɛt/) is a small breadcrumbed fried food roll containing, usually as main ingredients, ground meat (veal, beef, chicken, or turkey), shellfish, fish, ham, cheese, mashed potatoes or vegetables, and mixed with béchamel or brown sauce, and soaked white bread, egg, onion, spices and herbs, wine, milk, beer, or some combination, sometimes with a filling, such as sautéed onions, mushrooms, or boiled eggs.

    @Bakersgma
It could be, but now I think it's a Pea Spoon
    From the sight you referenced.

Just took a long walk through Replacements "out of stock" section for this pattern, hoping that they would have either a coquette server or a pierced pea server and would have included a length. They had a place holder for the pea server but no picture and no length. Rats. :(

I went thru all replacememts list too, and two other fairly comprehensive lists by online stores, pea seems the guess. And now thanks to clutteredcloset49, I'm hungry...
    Thank you!
