Got Framed a long, long time ago

Was hoping I could find some information on this frame?

not unless corners are restored and also only if someone needed that type of frame for a period piece

That's a lovely aesthetic movement design! I agree, low value as-is, perhaps $30 or so, depending on size. If it has it's old wavy glass intact, that is a plus. I'm guessing the moldings are plaster or gesso applied over a wooden frame, then gilded or gold-leaved. A pro restorer could do it, but it would cost well over the monetary value of the frame. I tried to restore one of mine by making casts of the existing run but the definition was lost, and then my interest. In my old half-way-to-shabby-chic home, I just paint the missing portions in a matching color and call it good.
