Grandparents Furniture

    My wife has been asked if she would like to have the 3 pieces of furniture below and we are trying figure if we have the space but also if they may be worth something in the event we decide to sell them. Any thoughts from the group on these pieces? These are the only pictures we have!     1870s and 1880s I think... barring Ghopper correcting me. The dresser looks aesthetic period; it's my favorite of the Victorian styles pretty much, but totally out of style now.

    seems on offer for free because someone needs place himself and doesn't want to drive to the dump himself.

    Ca. 1870-90, walnut, Renaissance Revival transitioning into Eastlake (dresser). Handsome and solid stuff, far better than you could buy new at 5X the price. Keep it if you need furniture; don't sell it and buy new.

    Nevertheless, the pieces are rather middling (for Victorian) and probably wouldn't net you even $1K on Craigslist or at auction.
