Featured Great grandmothers book

This isn’t an antique itself. But it made me so happy when my mother gave it to me!

My great grandmother loved collecting antiques - just like me. :- ) I never knew her, but it makes me feel connected to her.

This book would have been purchased at the end of her life and isn’t particularly old, but I just love the idea of using a book she did.

It appears to be very useful, and what a nice connection to your ancestor. Did you know your great-grandmother as a child?

 

No, I didn’t know her. But even as a child I was interested in antiques and when I later (as an adult) found out it was something she had collected I felt a connection :- ) I imagine if I had met her I would have liked her.

 

That is special, for sure. You probably would have liked her.
