Featured Green Glass What Am I Piece Solved Bulb Box Planter

Hi All,
I think maybe part of a vanity/dresser set, for holding bottles? Or maybe for salt and pepper? It is 4 3/4"L x 2 1/4"W x 2 1/4"H, glows under a blacklight. So far I haven't found the pattern, kind of a tree bark finish.
Any information appreciated

that's an odd thing !!

 

this smaller form and color seem to be a harder to find. You'll find several of the #8127 larger boxes. And they are most often listed as Tiffin (but that's another story); the company was still U.S. Glass when these may have produced in their Tiffin plant where much of the USG production was labeled Tiffin.

Maybe adding U.S. Glass / Tiffin #8130 Bulb Box Planter to this thread might eventually get this to show up in google searches as well.....
the catalog description helps differentiate this one from the more often found size and décor by listing as: Oval Bulb Box with stippled panels. Whereas the mitered corners boxes are often described by the motif on the paneled sides using: nudes, girls, ladies, women, dancing, nymphs

this size would work nicely with paper whites....

I was only able to find the large size, maybe there are more out there but described as something else, I know I would never have figured out this was for forcing bulbs.
