    :droid:Tat or treasure?!
Another random piece picked up because it looked interesting.
16cm tall and almost unmarked but there **could** be a couple of words on the bottom or maybe just random spots of white glaze.
    Central Dutch scene is unglazed.
Not a thing of beauty :hilarious:
Any idea of the maker please, as usual I can’t find anything remotely similar online. Thankyou :)

The panel is pate sur pate work, possibly French. That glaze looks Belgian.

Hm. I'd think early 20th up till the 30s. Bit broad, I know. It's trying to be Victorian, but it's a little later.

The porcelain bisque panel with the sprig work reminds me of Schaefer and Vater, they made lots of Wedgewood Jasperware "wanna be" look alikes. I've never seen Schaefer Vater without numbers impressed into the bottom, so it could be someone imitating them, LOL.

Keywords for the green glaze technique could be sponged or marbleized. There might be other words but I can't think of any others now.

I think @Any Jewelry and @Silverthorne may be able to think of other words but I doubt they are polite ones :hilarious:
Thanks Laura, I’ll have a look using those search terms :)

    I'd rather not.:hilarious:

Seriously though, sponged sounds fine to me.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

How fabulously strange! Can't say that I like it, but it fascinates me.
