I picked up this piece this week at my local consignment shop. It is 3 1/2" tall. Would I be accurate in calling this opaline glass? It has a polished bottom & is somewhat hefty for its size weighing 4.3 ounces.

I suspect it's glass. There's a lot of nice green glass things made to look like jade that were sold in HK from, oh, just after WW2. I know this, because I bought some there. ;)

I have a few of those stands and I don't think the vase came with it. They sell them in shops. I think the vase is glass. It's a common shape from the first half of the 20th century. I've had a pink one and a cobalt one.

I'd be tempted to call it green CLAMBROTH glass, though clambroth glass is typically off white strictly speaking.

Thanks for the tip Don!!
I did a search & several pieces that came up did resemble the coloring of this piece.
