Green Pottery Jar Pot

Any idea of the origin?

 

Red Wing made a jar in this shape but I don't know if they made it in green.

Thanks. I found quite a few of these jars attributed to Red Wing.
Also, I read that this shape was also shown in Robinson Ransbottom Pottery book dating from the 1920's.

Don’t known if there was a collaboration betwen the two companies.

This one looks identical to mine. Seller suggests it could be McCoy but not certain.

Somewhere along the line, I think on the Red Wing collectors site, in answer to a question about one of these said they believed that the maker of the mold was said to have peddeled it to various companies.

I had seen that but the handles are placed differently so didn't know what to make of it.

I have a jar in this shape with a crazy message. I swear I put it on the Ebay Discussion Boards but can't find any sign of it. The only note I have with it is where the writing seems like it could be a puzzle of scrambled letters. It can be made to say a persons name with crackers jar. (or something like that) I don't know if it was id'd.
