This one has me stumped, which is unusual. ;)

Big heavy, tin glaze, and signed. C'mon, detectives!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Signed in two places? Looks like the same signature? I don't know the answer but it's cute.

The clear one is LC. The underglaze one on the base might also be that, but it's less sharp.

Chinoiserie possibly, but Chinese it's not.

Aha! That looks like it. So, I've a Latvian folk art vase decorated with Chinese blokes. Go figure. ;)

So has anyone been able to get further info on that link? I've not been able to figure out where the info came from on the mark. Granted Google seems to be searching a little different for me lately (not sure why) but I'm not finding much.

I also found this mark said to be Latvian however...still not able to find where it came from and I read it as UL but that's me:). It does make me wonder if there is confusion about the mark.

Unfortunately there are lots of potters with LC initials. I wanted this to be French for no particular reason I can figure. It did make be go back and look at a green pottery vase of mine with glaze in the mark and puzzle about it for the millionth time with no progress.

The vase looks like it was made from a mold and not folk art, doesn't it?
