    Hi again
Wondering if you could help with the maker and should I attempt to clean the metal or leave as is. About 8" high. Feels very nice.
    thanks again IMG_1715.JPG IMG_1716.JPG IMG_1717.JPG

I wonder whether it's silver plate? Have you got a sunshine cloth?

I do..but it almost looks like rust..it has been this way for the past 30 years but I actually wondered if it was or could be replated.

Ah. In that case, probably not a great idea. Looks black on my screen.

Id try to polish it. It may have had something rusty sitting on top of it,hence the rust. Im betting its silver. Gorgeous thing !
