Greetings from Maine

    Good afternoon all,
    I would just like to introduce myself before diving into the discussion forums. My name is Todd. I am not an antique collector as such, but I have recently inherited a houseful of my late mother's "stuff", collected trinkets and baubles from 19th century books to 1990s Beanie babies, and I was hoping to tap into the collective knowledge of the fine members of antiquers.com to help me identify some of the more peculiar items I unearth. That is, of course, if that sort of thing is allowed here.
    In either case, thank you for this resource. I'm going to go lurking now.
