Is this photograph worth listing or minimal value?

    What size is it?
    -
Even though not that long it's classified as a 'yard long'.
Because of subject matter it could do well.
I'd suggest copying and selling a print first.
I'd there's clamor for it sell more.
    If not sell IT.

You might see if they still exist and take a shot at them. ;)

    WOW! !
Has anyone tried to google Washington DC vs Baltimore gun club 1932.
Google just comes up with shootings, and gun laws.

Tried for history of Washington gun club and it was all slanted toward anti gun.
Talk about controlling what we see.

I was trying to figure who might have been on the teams. Washington DC club may have had famous politicians.

What bugs me - the younger people don't know they are being led by the nose.
We were taught to question everything, they are taught to go along with the crowd and think like everyone else.:grumpy::grumpy::rage:

When I google Washington DC V Baltimore Gun clubs 1932, I get your post here first, then the rest are all about 1932 gun clubs and the great depression.
    Nothing about shootings or political.

Kard, I had an idea about your photo, and I'm wondering if you might find some information about the "event" and/or its participants this way:

Although located in Hancock in Washington County, MD, and not in DC itself, The Woodmont Rod and Gun Club was at different times known as both
The Woodmont Rod and Gun Club of Washington, D.C. and
The Woodmont Rod and Gun Club of Baltimore City.

The place is now open to the public. According to their website:

In 1995, Woodmont was sold to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in a unique partnership with the Isaac Walton League. The League formed a Woodmont chapter to manage activities at the facility from October 1st to March 31st each year, when the League has exclusive use of 1,200 acres.

    The website, located here:
    http://washingtoncountyhistoricaltrust.org/woodmont-rod-gun-club/
    has an email contact option.

If they ARE connected to your photo, I imagine they would respond to an inquiry from you. Heck, they might even want your photo!

p.s. The place seems to be all about turkey & deer hunting and the like...

I've relayed the question to staffs of two current "gun clubs" in that area.

    Thanks for all the replies.
My new policy is one picture or painting in, two out :) This way I'll get rid of all the crap that I've bought through the years.
I'll guess I'll have to do a little research on the photo and give it a few tries. If it does not sell, goes back to the TS.

If you Google: "Baltimore gun club" pimlico

You get many hits with bits of history, successor name etc.

Part of the reason I instantly (within 7 minutes and that was writing time) tried to help is that I collect 'yard longs' (and have for at least 25 years as in my profile). I know something about them and what to do about the creases.

I had also written> You might see if they still exist and take a shot at them. ;)

Therefore I may be interested in it or at least what you find out about it. :)
    Thank you. :)

There is a Baltimore Rifle Club still in existence, but I couldn't get any history on them.

Not at all what I got last night. Wonder if since you are in the UK, you get different results.
