Had to buy this. Found it really odd looking.

Forgot to add 11 inches high.

How interesting that an Google search of that model number brings up other examples of figurines that could well be from the same (unidentified) manufacturer. If I had to guess, would think of one of the Lladro wannabes in Valencia, Spain.

It is not something I would normally buy, but I was fascinated by it and wanted to find out about it. It was very very cheap also. I prefer antique stuff.

It is strange, they all have the same number. It is something I have never seen before.

It is not my taste, but if someone visiting the house admires it, it is THEIRS.

No shame. Can certainly see why it would catch your eye.

Hum... Tengra figures seem to be clearly marked.

I would unscrew the base but it is very tight. It could be a can of worms job.

Yes, if only they had shown the mark. We know better than to trust a listing. It gives a direction to search, but I still didn't find anything. The company seems to have folded in the late '70s.

It might be worth adding 'Pierrot' to search terms.

I think it was mis-identified by seller. Galos pieces are clearly identified with stickers but I can find none that have a Modelo registrado one.
