  1. Hello Antiquers!

I was recently gifted this amazing large serving bowl. I have been searching for the artisan but I am having no luck! The back stamp has one I cant read and the name appears to be "Hai.". I have been looking so long I dont even know if it's Chinese or Japanese or? I think I have lost my mind at this point! :)

    Anyone? Anything? Greatly appreciated! HaiBowl_sm.jpg

Hard to tell detail from the pic, but palette and technique suggest Vietnam.

  6. Yes... I even found a Vietnamese potter called "HAI." Unfortunately I still couldn't find anything even close. I have tried reverse images...seems like everything. I will go back to Vietnam again though Thank you!
