    I get a 1930s English feel.

Hi Greg! One way to get more replies is to always use Full Image instead of Thumbnail when you attach your pictures.

You should still be able to go back to your post and click Edit to make that change now, but the Edit function doesn't stay active forever.

Also English oak. Again, would think this 30s but no reason not to believe this could have been made in to the 50s as well.

English, yes, but I'm voting earlier again. ;) Possibly pre WW1. It has that almost church like look that the Edwardians loved with the simplicity of our Arts and Crafts influences. I really doubt it's 50s: it's too simple for the repro Tudorbethan/Gothic fashion and no where near modernist enough for the Festival of Britain influences. Plus, that solid oak would have been both expensive and hard to source. It'd still sit well in a country property.

I saw those as dogs! There ought to be a metal tray under those holders.
