    Hi,
Looks like a glass for "forcing" Hyacinth bulbs.

It would make one heck of a beer glass for drafts.

    A "Slightly" similar shape...........

    Hi Greg,
We don't know each other but I am definitely glad you're feeling better. I just have a question based on my observation and your explanation of this "vase". All the examples I am looking at seem to have a wide mouth for the bulb to sit. Why would this be almost completely circular in the upper section with such a small mouth?
    Thank you

    Hi Flipper
It was made smaller to fit perhaps "paper whites." They are smaller than the usual bulbs.
I have had them in several sizes.

Reminds me a bit of a Turkish water pipe base but I haven't found one quite like this.

Given how tall it is, I don't believe that it would be appropriate for the bulb forcing use described. But it also looks very strange for "fish bowl."

Yes, that would be pretty cruel to put a fish in that. :nailbiting:

I've never seen a bulb vase that shape.
