I found these at a local thrift store - are these special, rare, etc??
I've never seen anything like them!
Is that a prayer in the writing? Is that the artist's signature on the side?
Are these as cool as I think?!
    I appreciate any info.

That's an epic menorah, and just in time for Hanukkah!

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

it's the hebrew prayer, said while lighting the candles.
but... it ends by saying..... " lighting of the candles of the sabbath & holy days "..., when it should say " the candles of Chanukah "
Also a Chanukah Menorah will always have one stalk ..( the Shamash ) much higher than all the rest, or at least separated from the other.. ' 8 '...!!

Soooo.....it's just a Jewish Menorah.....with no relation to the Festival of Lights.

Probably just as good - but for selling, those terms would attract more buyers.

@journeymagazine just curious, are you planning on using it?

    I love it!

No; my mom remarried when I was a kid to a jewish man & converted - I loved it because I got to have Christmas & Chanukah, but I'm a Christian.
In the orthodox view I think I am Jewish because my mom converted, but if so then I'm a 'Jew for Jesus'! :)

Mid-century 7-branch Menorah, carved to look like a Shin (looks like a W). I'd have jumped all over that too. I'm a Christian who grew up in a Jewish neighborhood and who has Jewish ancestors. I rehome stray Judaica on a regular basis.

I only count a total of 7 places to hold candles. Am I missing the 2 more that would be needed for Hanukkah?

I think it is for the Sabbath, not other holy days.

last 2 pics...... shel shabbat...& yom tov......

In Eretz Yisroel, the technical term Yom Tov applies to:

    1. The first and last days of Pesach.
    2. The day of Shavuos.
    3. The first day of Succos.
    4. The day of Sh’mini Atzeres.
    5. The two days of Rosh HaShana.
    6. The day of Yom Kippur.

Outside of Eretz Yisroel, the technical term Yom Tov applies to:

    1. The first two days and last two days of Pesach.
    2. The two days of Shavuos.
    3. The first two days Succos.
    4. The two days of Sh’mini Atzeres (Simchas Torah).
    5. The two days of Rosh HaShana.
    6. The day of Yom Kippur.

In the Orthodox view, think you are most definitely not Jewish, since mother is not Jewish by birth. The Ultras would not have recognized your mother as Jewish nor the marriage as legitimate.
