Featured Hand Carved Wood Plaque Mexico?

    Found this gorgeous hand carved plaque thrifting. It is solid wood and very finely hand carved. Any ideas on possible value? Any info is greatly appreciated :)

    The date on the plaque is of the signing of independence pact of Central American countries, like Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. The bird is quetzal which can be found in all of those countries, but is considered the national symbol of Guatemala.
