Featured Hand made brooch, brutalist?

What can you tell me about this little brooch? Purchased it over the summer on a whim at a sale. The lady had a very nice jewelry collection and I was able to grab some stuff for a pretty steep discount towards the end. Thought this was nice, probably not super valuable but nice. Not really sure how you would describe it? Not marked but looks like it could be silver. Based on the clasp it’s not too old. Would it qualify as brutalist style wise?

 

ooooh...pretty...I'm a sucker for color. I love the "antenna"...nice addition. Is it fused dichroic glass like this?

When I think Brutalist I think more metallic than anything else . This has brutalist elements granted , but I get more of an 80s vibe . I thought from Israel at first glance. I love the colors. As an aside , God I miss Starbucks ! They closed ours here in florida a few weeks ago.

What Flipper said. It's more artisan than brutalist. Most Brutalist pieces were done in the 70s and into the 80s. Dichroic pieces are mostly less than 20 years old.

 

Very nice and unusual
