I have this old, handmade tie or lapel pin that I’ve been trying to research. As you’ll see, it’s in the form of a lever-action rifle, possibly a Winchester 1886 short rifle. It appears to be made of brass, with the wood butt stock represented by a brown stone with black streaks. The unusual pin on the back is fixed, as you will see. Have any of you seen anything like this? I’d love to get an idea of the pin’s age, and the type of stone used. Thanks!

The stone looks like mahogany obsidian.

Thank you, Hollyblue! I had a look, and agree with you.
