Hand painted Compote Help ID mark please

    That looks like Cyrilic. Could it be Russian?

    I believe so. I have no idea where to look for that mark. It is very well done. Google lens is no help.

    Or Bulgarian maybe.

    Maybe. Do the Bulgarians make pretty-pretties like that? The roses would make sense.

    We do or did have a member from Bulgaria. Lovely floral painting!

    I associate that shade of blue on porcelain with Russian work, but I have weird associates, so...

    They do like pretty china. Old country roses sells incredibly well there.
