Hoping someone can decipher the marks on the bottom of this stoneware plate. One mark is an incised/impressed jug/vase with what looks to be a candle inside (perhaps a stick figure of a person). The other impressed mark is oval - looks a bit like an artist's palette. It is numbered 90/20. The bottom is rough in texture while the top is smooth.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    TIA
    Kathy

It looks so familiar. With it saying Ges Gesch (roughly means trademark) I think Germany or Austria are places to look. It sort of looks like your bottom mark says Handmade _ _ Austria but hard to tell for sure.

It looks surprisingly like a Marzi and Remy mark (which I think is supposed to be a potter's wheel) but I don't know that it is.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I do see the word "handmade" but can't make out what follows. As soon as I saw the painted design I thought of Austria or Bavaria, though.

I think West German. I also think it's Dumler and Breiden. BWDIK!

I can see two Os before the B and the straight perpendicular line part of a T before the Os.
