Featured Happy Saturday All!! I Need Your Help With This Cameo Please!!

    Once again I went shopping in my local neighborhood thrift store and picked up this cameo. It is marked 14K, tested 14K and have no other markings . I don’t know much about cameos and I was hoping you can help me with the age. It’s a pin brooch, but have the area that you can wear it as a necklace, this part can be folded down to wear as a pin. Again, I appreciate all your help in advance

    I think the frame is way nicer than the carving, but ymmv.

    Mid-20th century carved helmet shell, better than a great many but, as OBB observes, the mount is of higher quality than the cameo. Good condition, I see no hairline fractures. Nice that it is bezel rather than prong set; that shows higher quality too.
