Hi, I'm trying to find some information about these newspaper pages??? I don't know how to describe it, it's probably a historical engraving from Harper's Weekly. It looks original. Does it have any market value? Sorry for my language, I'm from Poland.
What an odd thing to find in Poland! Harper's Weekly was a New York City-based magazine that was published from 1857 until 1916. You can find more information here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harper's_Weekly Here's information on the Declaration of Independence print. The image was widely copied; yours may not be original. https://hoodmuseum.dartmouth.edu/objects/pr.x.986.97 Debora
Generally speaking, there's not a lot of interest in these prints. I can't tell what kind of prints they are. A couple pf close ups might help. The most likely culprits are lithograph or wood engraving. Can you tell if there is printing on the reverse? If there's printing on the reverse, that's a strong indication of a relief print. (Wood engravings don't get any respect, which seems strange to me: I see a lot of skill, a deft hand, in the making of them. It's probably because they are relief prints and, as such, have very long lives.)
The Thanksgiving piece is a page from Harper's Weekly. Here's how it would have looked in its original position on page 781 in the December 3, 1879 edition. I would expect yours to be original. https://archive.org/details/harpersweeklyv14bonn/mode/2up The back should look like this (left hand side.) Here's one available, unframed, on eBay. Keep in mind this is an asking price, not a sold price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/4033741637...9k8aWUbf7igzGqSmajNSggorFCc=|tkp:BFBMqOq_r_tj Debora
The other, as I wrote above, has been widely copied. You would have to post in focus, close-up photographs of the text underneath the image to determine what version you have. Debora
