I found these two paintings and can't make out the signature. They are done with a very thick paint and almost a sculpture like texture. Any information would be appreciated.

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I have just spent too much time searching the threads here -- a while back (but since I joined) someone else posted a similar piece that was two "figures" in a loose landscape.

It's the airbrushed background and the thick bits... puts me in mind of souvenir pieces from somewhere -- but the info is way back in my brain and I couldn't get to it when the other person posted and I can't get to it now.

The most I can get to is I think this "style" was a passing fad in the 1960s.

But I've got nothing to back that up. :hilarious:
