Got a few winners in them. This one I didn’t even think was going to be silver based on photos but sure enough it is. Haven’t seen one quite like it before. Nothing in the lots seems to be newer than 1950 but these marks don’t strike me as being super old. It’s marked 32 which I believe is the model number, “sterling”, and then 925 in a cartouche, a blank circle, and 80 in a diamond. Couldn’t find the mark in a quick search. It may be too generic to tell or matter.L? The repousse work is nice though and it has a very Baltimore/ S Kirk & Son look. Any help is appreciated on this one!

Edit: unlikely but possibly Stieff 1919?

Dominick & Haff, 1880 - the year is typically all four digits, but for some reason, 1880 is often found with only two...

    Isn't that an unusual piece.
If you clean it, come back and show us. I think it will be lovely cleaned.

Now that I know the maker thanks to DragonflyWink it turns out it’s more unusual than I realized. Can’t seem to find one like it even knowing it’s D&H, model #, and date. It’s pretty hefty at 275g. I’ll probably leave cleaning up to a potential new owner.

Forgot to show my favorite part...

You will get more for it cleaned than dirty. That's not patina.

You’re probably right as far as getting more for it goes. You’re almost definitely right actually. As many times as someone says that it’s not going stop me from liking the way a dirty old piece of silver looks though :). I love them both clean and dirty.
