    Are these items vintage?

    Sweet....
I've never seen a holder like that. Usually they're ceramic or celluloid
I'd say yes, vintage, perhaps antique. I know @kyratango collects hat pins...

I have seen the stands like that in silver or silver plated. The most interesting hatpin is the insect one.

Which our bug lady kyra would like.;) The red birdie (cardinal?) is also very cute and unusual.:)

Nice find! The stand is beginning of 20th century, so it is a true antique :)
For the hatpins, the first on left, and perhaps the dragonfly (need crisp pics of it and its back!:cyclops:) are genuine hatpins.
The beads are some beads and spacers put together on a needle... Purely decorative, recent, not intended to be used. The cardinal bird also is a marriage, non functional to be pulled several times a day! don’t forget genuine hatpins had to hold and secure a hat to your head, pinned in pair through the bun...;)
