I just found that tool in an auction and i believe it's pretty rare and unusual! There is very little information on it over the internet, all i could find is the US patent approval file dated back in 1957. This tool is a wallboard cutter used to make a hole in a drywall sheet as i understand it. It was made by the Hartmeister MFG inc. compagny based in Denver Colorado
    If you know something about this tool please let me know IMG_0714.JPG IMG_0710.JPG IMG_0714.JPG IMG_0714.JPG IMG_0714.JPG IMG_0710.JPG IMG_0711.JPG IMG_0708.JPG IMG_0705.PNG

Probably little interest in it. Failed invention. Not quick.

The only tool collectors seem to be in woodworking and machinist.

I don't know about anywhere else but around here (Cleveland, Oh. area) people go nuts over old mechanics tools also! I personally have 2 tool drawers full of antique mechanics tools that I still use on my cars today.
