Haviland Pot Info

I bought a handful of CFH stuff. This pot that stands 8" tall to the top of the finial on the lid. I also have the matching sugar bowl, 4 cups and saucers (same handle on the cups) and 4 plates (to make 4 trios) The only mark on any of this is on 1 plate. I have been to replacements with no luck. I can't find anything with this handle. My book of marks puts this at 1870-1882.

 

It's gorgeous! I've never seen that handle either, but the finial looks familar. Could you post a photo of the plate that has the mark? And maybe 1 cup/saucer because I would love to see them. One of my reference books shows 2 CFH tea pots with loopy handles but nothing like this one.

Yes, I saw the plate mark. I was just being greedy wanting to see the pattern on the front of the plate. This is such a beautiful set!

 

When I first started following my mother around to antique stores as a kid, I collected orphaned sugar bowls, mainly Limoges and Haviland. That sugar bowl makes me wish I still had some of my 'findings'.
