Hawiian shell leis - very charming, but?

We had a lot of these at the sale last weekend... I looked them up, and they weren't valuable, at. all., but did notice that some shell leis were way up there. Is there any one out there who can venture info on whether these sweet things are of any interest?

South Pacific limpets and fish vertebrae. They really don't look like Hawaiian Opihi shells but the mollusk probably taste the same. The pink shells probably aren't Hawaiian either.

Tourist items, but nice ones. I'd say do a search as Hollyblue said for shell necklaces, not Hawaiian leis. Some do quite well.

Other than recognizing the limpets, my only thought was - dang, those are pretty! :)

They look rather 1950ish with the colors.
    Souvenirs of where?
Where else would people have gone in the 50s - 60s besides Hawaii?
Florida comes to mind, where else?

I've never seen those in Hawaii, if that's of any help!

I imagine they could be from a seashore recreational area - like the Long Beach Pike - anywhere in the world...

Something you'd buy for your sweetheart. A tad better than this -
which is what my BF brought me from Miami Beach (which of course I was delighted to see emerge from his suitcase):

He also bought me "Princess Daisy" by Judith Krantz for Christmas - that's how long ago he was my BF!

Lots of other islands in the South Pacific and Indonesia that have shell jewelry. I also think the colors trend towards the 50s-60s. Scouts - I have a bunch of those shell figures that my Mom brought back from Florida in the early 40s.

I think the monofilament and earring hooks and clips are not too old
