Heart Brooch Gold ?

Bought this Heart brooch earlier and it has a makers stamp B M P and wondered would anyone recognise it any help greatly appreciated.

 

This is one you'll probably have to have tested. I've heard of a BMP stamp on some 18k pieces, but ... dunno.

Hi I read the initials are for the British Museum forget the last word could be penacular .And thank you for taking your time all the best.

 

I found one identical in a charity shop a month or to ago.

 

A different stamp don’t think that any would be gold no such luck they look to be exact copies of the Museum one interesting.Different makers possibly having permission or don’t need it to copy a nice brooch ?
