Heavy geometric crystal vase - Scandinavian? reminiscent of rombic.

I know this isn't consolidated / ruba rombic - but clearly influenced by it. The color of the glass has me thinking Scandinavian - but I don't have much else to go by. I have found one perhaps similar vase on pinterest(referencing an expired ebay listing) that claims it is by Tapio Wirkkala ...

But again - doesn't exactly match this one - and mine is unsigned. Any ideas who made this?

9" tall. Mouth is 5" wide. Heavy. Being clear - hard to get pics of all the angles - but it's covered with different faces/angles in different directions.

It doesn't appear to have a ground bottom, or does it?

Don't know if it's ground - it's very smooth/polished, both in the middle and the "foot" around the edge. I'll see if I can get a pic of just the bottom "detail" although there isn't much detail to see.

Here's the base closer up - white specks are just dust - the green is a reflection of the microfiber cloth i'm holding.

If it's not ground and polished, then probably not Scandinavian.
I'm thinking more like Mikasa or other company bringing glass out of the Romania, Yugoslavia area.
    Looks to be lead crystal.
Suspect it is something from the last 30 years or so.

It's Super Bowl time, I'll be back later.

    Thank you!

I spent about 20 minutes yesterday looking through replacements.com Mikasa vases looking for this one - didn't see it - might have missed it though. Most Mikasa stuff I've seen(admit I'm no expert) has fairly obvious mold seams - whereas this doesn't have any at all. Thanks for you input!

Looks like it was just carved out of a nice, clean glacier.

    It's a pretty vase.
Besides Mikasa; Gorham, Lenox, Waterford Marquis and others all imported glass from Slovenia, Romania, etc. in the 1990s and after.

Found another one of these at the thrift tonight - with the sticker still on it, and the winner is ....

    Teleflora - from China!!

    Really?
Well Teleflora items are usually nice and often times good quality.
However, I'm surprised about it being China.

    Thanks for letting us know.

Did you buy the second one?
If not, did you think to take a picture of the label for later reference?

Unfortunately no...I got quickly distracted - but next time I'm in there if it's still there I'll at least get a picture. Maybe I'll buy it so I'll have a matching set.

The Chinese have always made some excellent glass. Still are.

Is anyone keeping up with this string of comments. I just bought one at my local goodwill and it does have pro flowers. I’m trying to determine should I keep it because it was dirt cheap and it is beautiful and maybe one day be of value, or try to sell on eBay. Any replies out there?
