    Hello everyone! I’ve been collecting antiques and searching for treasures for years and absolutely love it. I especially like art pottery. I love learning new things and finding interesting pieces to research. I’m not exactly wealthy so a lot of my pieces are thrift store finds. :cat: Looking forward to learning a lot from this site!

    Ohhh there are so many... but I’d have to say Marblehead, Rookwood, Denbac, North Dakota School of Mines, Saturday Evening Girls and in a dream world Teco and Adelaide Robineau. How about you?

    I reside in Ohio so I grew up going to estate auctions and sales with collections of the big Ohio art pottery companies so that kind of shaped my interests.

    Rookwood I think is my favorite although my budget is more in line with Roseville or Weller. Anyways I collect what catches my eye and is available to be had so I have a mixture of manufactures and styles.

    Welcome to the forums! We (I am sure I am not alone) would love to see pictures of your finds.

    I was doing some pottery dusting today and thought I’d share a picture of one of my favorite finds. It was early on in my pottery obsession so it really fueled the fire. :D I found this 1922 Rookwood at Goodwill for $1.99! I just love the glaze- it’s green swirly undertone. I added a close up of the glaze :smuggrin:
    That’s all- just thought I’d share.
