Hello everyone! What are these?

I thnk one could be a lingerie clip but frankly,I am guessing. It says ACID PROOF on it and it's approx an inch and a half.





And whilst I am here,wth IS this? Does anyone have any idea?




It's approx three and a half inches down and five around x x

 

Second thing is probably Tibetan. Might be part of a prayer wheel.

 

Thank you my Mrs.B! Off to have a look at tibetan prayer wheels... they were in my fave charity shop yesterday,on ten p shelf ... my favourite place in my favourite shop!

Agree with Obb, it is the top of a prayer wheel, and a very nice one. Himalayan. The stones are glass of a type used in Nepal, but they probably export those as well.

Now all you need is a handle, finial, and a prayer scroll.

I don't have a testing kit,it feels like low grade silver though,I have loads go through my hot heavy hands ( well...I buy it. I try to sell it but have a weakness for silver) and I have a feel for it. I do need to get a kit though for sure. x x

I know what you mean, you develop a feel for silver, even the approximate fineness, and in some cases the origin. Silver is great.

 

I just LOVE it. I however have a weakness for so many things!
